All candy bars and money are due back to Young Marines NTL 30 May 2003. Please make sure that everything is turned it so that we can get a count of what is left.

Parents and Young Marines

Progress reports are due back this friday night 30 May 2003. These progress reports are mandatory to be turned in. With out these progress reports you will not be able to get promoted.

Please also remember 5th graders. If you just completed Dare please bring in your ceretificate so you can receive your ribbon. Everyone if you received at 3.0 total GPA and made honor roll please bring in your report cards so that they can be reviewed for the academic ribbon. I can not request these ribbons without your help. Please look threw your Young Marine guide book at all the ribbons. Some Young Marines are in band, sports and certain clubs that warrant a ribbon. Please bring in the proof so that you may be recongized.

Time is running out. If you have talked with any of the staff and plan to attend the Parris Island trip but have not yet replyed to me in email then you arent on the list. If you would like to go to Parris Island then I need to know Asap. Seats are limited and when the bus is full then you will be missing out. Please let me know asap if you plan on going.

Burger King is willing to help us with earning money for our trip to Parris Island. On Wednesday, 4 June 2003 from 1700-2000 you may go to either Burger King in Havelock. Tell them that you support the Young Marines and they will donate 20% of all profits from that time to us. Please tell everyone that you know to come and visit either Burger King in Havelock to support the Young Marines!

We will be participating in 2 fund raising activities to help with the Parris Island trip. We will be having TWO cars washes. The first one will be on 7 June 2003 from 0800-1300 and the second one will be on 14 June 2003 from 0800-1300. Both car washes will be held at the Burger King in the Center of Havelock. We need everyone to bring old towels to wash and dry the cars. All NCO's are required to be there.

Aviation Mach II Adventure

Cost is $300 paid by Parent of YM / Dates are 19 - 25 July 03. 12 to 14 years old prior to 19 July 2003. YM must have 1 year in Young Marine Program before 12 April 2003. PFC prior to 1 Oct 2002 / Two overnite encampments completed without incident. Passing grades at school with current progress report. Lastly, C.O.'s approval for YM to attend.

Space Academy

Cost is $300 paid by Parent of YM / Dates are 21 - 28 June 03. 12 to 14 years old prior to 21 June 2003. YM must have 1 year in Young Marine Program before 12 April 2003. PFC prior to 1 Oct 2002 / Two overnite encampments completed without incident. Passing grades at school with current progress report. Lastly, C.O.'s approval for YM to attend.

Civil War

Cost is $200 paid by Parent of YM / Dates are 21 - 28 June 03 and 12 - 19 July 2003. 11 to 13 years old prior to 21 June 2003. YM must have 1 year in Young Marine Program before 12 April 2003. PFC prior to 1 Oct 2002 / Two overnite encampments completed without incident. Passing grades at school with current progress report. Lastly, C.O.'s approval for YM to attend.
